Italian Lo Carb Recipe
Have you ever noticed that there are very few Italian lo carb recipes? Well fret not! Here is a lo carb recipe for those who love their low carb lifestyle, but miss the pleasing taste of Italian food. There's no pasta in this recipe, but there's plenty of flavor.
Lo Carb Italian Caserole Recipe
- 2 lbs browned hamburger
- 1/2 onion (diced and sauteed)
- 1 lb shredded Mozzarella
- 1 pint sour cream
- 8 eggs
- 12 ounces frozen green beans
- 1 8oz can of unsweetened tomato sauce.
- Italian Seasoning
Lo Carb Recipes Directions:
Pre-heat oven to 375. Brown the meat and onions in a fry pan. Beat the eggs, and warm the beans and mix all together in a 9 X 13 Pyrex pan. Add the Italian seasoning to taste.
Next spread the sour cream in a layer across the bean/egg/meat mixture. Then spread the tomato sauce across the top of this. Bake in the oven for 30 minutes.
Then spread the cheese over the top of the caserole, and bake for another 15 minutes.
This is an excellent lo-carb recipe that can add some sanity when other lo carb recipes are letting you down.
